We’ve always been inspired by the hair from Old Hollywood movies. In the ‘30s and ‘40s, it was cut with razors and finished with slick, oil-based products. So, after we reinvented razor-cutting, (dubbed “Razorcraft” at The House of Bumble), we concocted a new-and-improved version of the vintage formula.
Brilliantine contains a blend of oils suspended in a creme base, which gives dreamy separation, extra sheen, and enhances texture. Long before “off-duty model” hair became a thing, Brilliantine pioneered this languid, slept-in look.
In 1991, we launched our very first
product, Brilliantine – a texture tool
that brings razor-cut looks to life.
