Born and raised in Montauk, Long Island, this pro surfer has been hitting the waves since she was seven. Here, Quincy gets candid about her start in surfing, how her hair handles endless amounts of saltwater, and more.
How did you get your start in surfing?
"For a long time, I surfed in the boys division because the other girls were a lot older than me. By twelve, I was doing well in the contests and became eligible to compete in California. I landed some sponsorship deals, and things took off from there."
Why is air-dry styling important to you?
"I’m in and out of the water too often to blow-dry my hair and style. So, I like products that enhance my natural texture – without too much work."
